PROBLEM STATEMENTS

Rapid urbanization in Indonesia has resulted in a shortage of affordable housing, leading to informal settlements and inadequate living conditions. This problem statement focuses on finding innovative solutions to improve access to affordable and sustainable housing in urban areas. Participants are encouraged to propose strategies that promote inclusive housing policies, innovative construction methods, energy-efficient designs, and the integration of smart technologies to create liveable and resilient communities.

Tourism plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, but it also poses challenges in terms of sustainable development and cultural preservation. This problem statement aims to address the need for sustainable tourism practices that contribute to local economies while preserving cultural heritage and protecting the environment. Participants are invited to propose initiatives that promote community-based tourism, responsible tourism practices, conservation of natural and cultural resources, and the engagement of local communities in tourism planning and development.
